Ms. Wascow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan. She has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She is known for her compassionate approach to empowering individuals to reach their full potential in life.
Ms. Wascow earned her Masters Degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College. Following her Masters training, she received additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center. She is also certified in Trauma-Focused CBT from University of Pittsburg.
Since becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has worked with individuals and families affected by trauma in a variety of clinical settings. She worked with children and families with sexual trauma in homes and in foster care system. As her work progressed, she expanded her clinical expertise to areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotional regulation, stress management, parent coaching, mindfulness and self-esteem building. Ms. Wascow is excited to offer both individual and family sessions rooted in the CBT model at Blue Bell Psychiatry.
