Ms. Houser is a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in adolescents and young adults. She has a passion for helping young people to reach their full potential and goals. She is known for her practical and compassionate approach.
Ms. Houser graduated from Temple University with bachelor’s in Psychology. She then went on to obtain her Masters in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University. For the last twenty years, she has worked with adolescents and families as a school counselor. She has an extensive experience working with adolescents who may struggle with difficulties with transitions to new settings, social and academic challenges, and family relational issues. She works in collaboration with families and other mental health agencies.
Ms. Houser’s approach is based on solution and person-focused, and among others, she uses CBT and motivational interview techniques. More recently, Ms. Houser has predominantly focused on working with adolescents and young adults who may struggle with attentional issues, anxiety and/or depressive symptoms and life transitions.
